As the sequel to Divergent,
it continues the story of Tris
and Four. Following the events of the
previous novel, a war now looms as conflict between the factions and their
ideologies grows. While trying to save the people that she loves, Tris faces
questions of grief, forgiveness, identity, loyalty, politics, and love.
Roth, V. (2012). Insurgent. New York, New York: HarperCollins.
Although Divergent was a thriller, Insurgent
had a new flare of action that kept me full of anticipation and in awe the
complicated society Roth has created.
This novel will keep you on your toes as you follow Tris through hardship.
